The Bridge International

The Bridge International's vision is to provide financial, physical, emotional and spiritual support to orphans, street children and disadvantaged in Zimbabwe.

Their primary focus is orphans and children although they also have connections with vulnerable families, the carers of children, widows, prisoners and those who have been left without any other means of support.

Examples of support include food parcels, emergency medicine, survival building supplies, school fees, basic transport and some training.

The Bridge International Emergency Appeal

We have some amazing news about the appeal - we have reached our target of £12,000! The Bridge International have started preparations to aim to start building as soon as possible. A huge thank you to all who have donated!

The Bridge Appeal small

There is a need to build a separate building for some extra children that have been “dropped off” at the orphanage without warning, which now makes the existing dormitory style building overcrowded. The new children are sleeping on the floor and there is not adequate bedding in some cases. In addition to this, there are many orphans waiting for a place who currently live at the local rubbish tip scavenging for food there.
