Sunday Worship

Church Services

Following the announcement from the government that we are moving into tier 4, Nathan and the deacons have come to the decision that we will suspend meeting in person while we are in tier 4.

Whilst the rules state that we are able to continue with communal worship in the highest tier, we feel that because of the escalating infection rates in our region and the general instruction to ‘stay at home’ in this tier, that it is wise to minimise the risk by changing things.

We will continue to review the situation and the government guidelines as they are updated and as soon as we feel it is safe to do so we will invite a congregation back into the building.

We don’t do this lightly and hope that you will understand our decision. If we can help in any way while we are subject to greater restrictions then please do be in touch with Nathan or any of the deacons and we’ll do our very best to help.

We will continue to live-stream the service each week from the church while we’re able to and record the talks for people to catch up on if they can’t be with us. We plan to broadcast our service online at 10:45am each Sunday via Zoom, with a video recording of the sermon available later via a link on our website.

Please email us if you'd like to be added to our mailing list so that we can send you the Zoom meeting details.

We are an enthusiastic church and our Sunday meetings have a contemporary feel, with mostly modern music. We seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit when planning the service.

Music Group August 2016-2

The weekly, Sunday morning service starts at 10.45 and finishes around 12.00 noon. During this time we pray, sing and listen to a talk which lasts about 20 minutes.

Bible teaching is always a key ingredient of our meetings together and we also provide children’s and youth programmes to run alongside those for adults.

We welcome everyone from those who have been to church all their lives to those who are just interested in discovering what the Christian faith holds.

Holy Communion

We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of each month. At the end of the service, we remain in our seats and are served with bread, which we eat as we receive it. This is followed by individual cups of non-alcoholic wine, which we hold onto until everyone is ready to drink together.
